Your old brick adapter is heavier than the laptop it powers, and the cable frays every time you pack your bag. You need something that actually fits in a carry-on and still drops full power into the machine.
The HP 65W USB-C Laptop Charger weighs 210 grams. It packs down to 3.82 x 2.11 x 0.83 inches, comes with the AC cord (39.4 in) and a 70.9-inch USB-C cable, and feeds 65W into any compatible HP notebook — ProBook 440 or 450, EliteBook X360, 630, 640, 650, 830, 840, or 860.
Output steps through 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, and 20V automatically. You don't pick a setting. It negotiates with the laptop and delivers what it needs. Input draws 1.6A at up to 90VAC.
One-year limited warranty from HP.
