You're still on a phone-line connection and the old modem's holding the whole office back. The Archer VR300 handles the VDSL or ADSL line directly — no separate box, no extra cable run. It hands out AC1200 dual-band Wi-Fi: 867 Mbps on 5 GHz and 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, with four fixed external antennas keeping signal steady across the room.
Three LAN ports plus a LAN/WAN port cover the desktops, the printer, and the backup line. The RJ11 slot takes the phone-line straight in. Parental controls let you set sensible limits for the kids' devices. A dedicated guest network keeps visitors off the internal traffic. QoS prioritises the video call over the file transfer when bandwidth gets tight.
IPTV support via IGMP Proxy and Snooping means the set-top box doesn't fight the rest of the network. IPv6-ready. WPA/WPA2 security on the wireless side. Setup interface comes in six languages including English.
