Your eyes are killing you by 3pm. The panel smears colour when you lean back, and that 60Hz refresh makes every scroll feel like dragging a screen through sand.
The AOC 24E40L fixes both. It's a 23.8" IPS panel running 1920×1080 at 144Hz with Adaptive Sync, so frames land clean whether you're colour-correcting a report or mid-queue in a shooter. 178°/178° viewing angles mean the person two seats over sees the same image you do – no colour shift, no grey-out.
Colour accuracy matters here. sRGB 112% and NTSC 101% give you true-to-life tones without oversaturating skin or skies. 300 cd/m² brightness and a 1500:1 contrast ratio keep dark scenes readable without blowing out highlights.
Comfort is built in, not bolted on. TÜV-certified Low Blue Light, Circular Polarizing Light, Flicker-Free tech, and Anti-Blue Light work together so a full shift in front of this screen doesn't leave you squinting at the ceiling afterwards. The i-Menu lets you dial in exactly what you need without hunting through nested submenus.
On the back: one HDMI 1.4, one DisplayPort 1.2. No USB hub, no speakers – it's a focused display. Tilt runs -5° to 23°. VESA 100×100mm if you want it on an arm. 2.97 kg with the stand. The 1.8 m HDMI cable is in the box, so you unbox, plug in, set your resolution, and get back to work.
