WatchGuard Firebox M4800 – Security Appliance Only (No License Included)

You've got a gap in your network security and you need it closed before the next weekend. The WatchGuard Firebox M4800 is the hardware chassis that does the heavy lifting – but here's the thing most people miss: this unit ships as a blank appliance. No WG licence is bundled. You'll need to source a separate WatchGuard licence to get full UTM protection running.

That's not a gotcha. It means you can match the licence tier to your actual user count and threat profile without paying for headroom you won't use. The M4800 sits on your shelf, you plug it in, load the right WG licence, and your perimeter is protected.

RRP $11,079. If you're already running a WatchGuard stack and just need the hardware swapped or scaled, this is the clean path. Call us if you want to confirm which licence tier fits your setup before you order – we'll walk you through it in ten minutes flat
