Your NVR's been dropping frames at 2am and you're tired of hunting for the footage that matters. A desktop drive just isn't built to sit in a hot, vibrating recorder cabinet running 24/7 — it wasn't designed for that.
The WD Purple WD23PURZ was. 2TB of CMR storage, rated for 180TB/year of continuous writes — triple what a standard desktop drive handles. AllFrame™ technology keeps your video stream from stuttering across up to 64 HD camera feeds. MTBF up to 1 million hours.
SATA interface, 3.5-inch form factor. Drops into most standard DVR and NVR bays without modification. Western Digital backs it with a 3-year limited warranty.
