Your TV's audio output isn't where your speakers want it to be. Maybe it's a soundbar with only an optical in. Maybe it's a home-theatre amp that takes RCA. Maybe the TV just doesn't have the right port at all. This is the fix.
The Simplecom CM423V4 plugs between your HDMI source and display, pulls the audio out, and hands it to you as Optical SPDIF, 3.5mm stereo, or 2RCA analog — whichever your gear actually needs. Video passes straight through at up to 4K@60Hz over HDMI 2.0b (18Gbps), so you lose nothing on the picture side.
Two modes, one box. In HDMI input mode it extracts audio from the source signal while passing video to your display. In ARC/eARC mode it taps directly into your TV's return channel for a cleaner pull when the TV is the source. You choose per setup.
It handles Dolby Digital, DTS-HD, PCM, LPCM and Dolby TrueHD. HDCP 2.2 means protected content plays without a fuss. Power comes from a USB-C lead (5V/1A) — no wall brick to hunt for.
In the box: the extractor, a 0.5 m HDMI lead, an optical audio cable, a USB power cable, and the manual. Plug it in, pick your output, done.
