Five metres covers most outdoor gaps – the router on the veranda to the desk in the garage, or the NVR on the security post to the wall port. But you still need a cable that won't crack in the first summer. This Astrotek 5m Cat5e outdoor cable is built for it. PE jacket handles UV and rain. 24AWG stranded pure copper keeps the signal clean. STP shielding with nickel-shielded RJ45 plugs and gold-plated contacts knocks out interference. Plug and go
