Run DSM on top and you've got data sharing, sync, backup, and up to 25 IP cameras (750 FPS at 720p, H.264) all in one desktop-friendly unit. Two camera licences come free; extras are a quick add-on.
RAM is 2 GB DDR4 out of the box. Need more? Drop in a D4NS01-4G and you're at 6 GB.
Warranty: 3 years standard, extendable to 5 with EW201. Peripherals must come from Synology's AU compatibility list – we'll point you to the right drive if you're unsure.
