Your 9V device — a walkie-talkie, a small pump, a sensor module — needs a dedicated adapter that's lost, broken, or never came in the box. And all you've got is a USB port.
This Jaycar cable steps up 5V to 9V so you can power it straight from a computer, powerbank, or any USB charging source. No hunting for a wall brick. No "where's that little adapter?" moment.
Seven standard DC tips are included, so you're not guessing which plug fits your device. Polarity is fixed: inner contact positive, outer negative. You can't wire it backwards.
Rated 9V at 1A when connected to a high-power USB port (2.1A or greater). If your port is rated 500mA — common on older PCs — the cable still works, just won't hit the full 1A. Know your port before you plug in.
