This Jaycar PoE passive adaptor kit solves that in ten minutes. Plug a 5, 12, 24, or 48VDC supply into the 2.1 mm DC socket on one end, and tap the power out at the other end where your device sits. Data and power share the same twisted-pair cable. No active PoE injector needed.

The kit includes both leads: a power input lead with a 2.1 mm DC socket and a power output lead with a 2.1 mm DC plug. Output is rated at 1.5 A / 15.4 W, which covers most wireless APs and small PoE devices.
