You've got eight digits to drive and only three pins to spare. This module handles the lot. Two 74HC595 shift registers sit behind the glass, so you wire DIO, SCLK, and RCLK and walk away. Eight common-cathode digits light up, ready for a counter, a timer readout, or a scoreboard that's been sitting in your project box too long. Need more digits? Daisy-chain another one on. Just note: this speaks 74HC595 protocol. If your board expects a MAX7219 driver, this won't pair up. Works straight off Arduino, Raspberry Pi GPIO, or micro:bit headers. RRP $21.14
