Jaycar 1.7mm Solder Splice Heatshrink Tubes – Pack of 6

Two cables need joining. You don't want a loose twist that works until it doesn't. You want a solid, insulated connection you can trust in the back of a panel and forget about.

Slide one of these 1.7mm tubes over the join, heat it like any shrink tube, and the solder section in the middle melts to electrically bond the wires. The tube shrinks tight around the whole thing, giving you a reliable, well-insulated splice with no soldering iron required at the joint itself.
