One honest note: it's soft rubber. That's what keeps the cost down, but it can leave faint marks on a gelcoat or painted hull over time. If your boat's finish is pristine and you want zero scuff risk, look at a harder compound. If you just need a functional, affordable roller that holds the bow steady while you're trailering, this does the job.
