You need more chill than a slim little pack but you don't want a full ice block eating half your esky. This sits in the middle. 40mm thick, it packs real thermal mass without dominating the space. Freeze it overnight, drop it in with your lunch or your medication, and it holds temp well past when the ice is done. No puddle under the containers. No soggy tissue paper. Re-freeze it tonight for tomorrow's trip
