Onboard ambient light, RGB colour, and proximity sensors detect the hand movements in six different directions, then sends the data to your microcontroller over standard I2C communications. It has a detection range between 100 - 200mm, and uses UV and IR blocking filters to improve performance. The board measures just 20(W) x 12(H) x 11(D)mm including pins, and runs from 3.3V
