Derwent Inktense Block – Burnt Orange (0260)

You know the one. That earthy, warm orange that sits between raw sienna and a full cadmium hit. The Derwent Inktense Block in Burnt Orange is built for exactly that middle ground. Drag it dry across your paper for smooth, even coverage over large areas. Add water and it shifts into a translucent wash with real character – think terracotta walls, autumn landscapes, warm skin tones. No patchiness. No fighting the paper. Just clean, expressive marks that hold their colour. Perfect for sketching, illustration, or filling in those background washes that keep looking flat. Add to cart and sort that colour out today
