RTM supplies the finest hot dipped galvanised spindles where possible. Many spindles are supplied with one end flattened so that it won’t come loose, this is fine provided that a galvanised flat washer is placed between the flattened end and the outside face of the rollerbracket. This will prevent the flattened edge wearing the galvanising off itself and the outside of the bracket. Strictly speaking it is not necessary to grease the rollers/spindles, but many do
