The AI Dome is built for exactly that gap. It shoots true 4K at 8 megapixels with a 109.9-degree viewing angle, so one unit covers the whole frontage without a second camera on the fascia. At night, 40 metres of IR range keeps the image usable – not a muddy silhouette.
The AI layer is where it earns its keep. Face recognition and licence-plate detection run on the camera itself, so you get tagged events in your UniFi Protect timeline instead of scrolling through hours of footage hunting for one car.
It's PoE-powered, which means one cable does data and power. No extra 240V drop to the eave. It's rated weatherproof for outdoor exposed mounting, so a Sydney winter or a Perth summer won't rattle it.
