You've got a 24V Ubiquiti PoE device out in the weather, and your 802.3af switch just isn't talking to it the way it should. Or you're running a long cable stretch and losing power before the signal gets there. Sorted with this adapter.
The INS-3AF-O-G converts almost any 24V Ubiquiti PoE device into a fully compliant 48V, 802.3af product. It handles 10/100/1000 Mbps over the wired connection, so your throughput doesn't drop when you upgrade to gigabit.
Because it draws proper 802.3af power, your cable runs get longer without the voltage sag that kills remote APs and cameras. You can also power-cycle devices remotely through your existing 802.3af switch — no extra controller needed.
It's rated for outdoor use, and the built-in ±15kV Ethernet isolation gives you a real buffer against ESD and surge damage on exposed runs. Comes with a 20 cm GbE RJ45 cable in the box
