Five years of a site lease means five years of needing the internet to not be a problem. You don't want to be renegotiating a management subscription in year two while your team is mid-quarter and the VPN is the only thing keeping the cloud apps alive.
The Cradlepoint E400, bundled with a 5-year NetCloud Essentials + Advanced plan, locks that in. One box on the shelf, one dashboard in the cloud, zero renewal headaches for half a decade.
What you're actually getting: an embedded 5G Stand-Alone modem (Rel-17) plus Cat 20 LTE, dual-SIM so a carrier outage doesn't take your site offline, and Wi-Fi 7 tri-band coverage that keeps every laptop, phone, and IoT sensor connected at the same time. Five 2.5 GbE ports handle your switch, AP, or local storage. Throughput is rated at 2.4 Gbps — enough for a 20-seat clinic running telehealth video without buffering.
SD-WAN and endpoint security are baked in. Twenty VPN tunnels give you headroom for branch-to-branch links or back-to-head-office traffic without buying a separate appliance.
If the site is a pop-up or temporary deployment, the optional 8-hour battery keeps the link alive through a power cut. No UPS rack, no separate generator conversation.
Five years of Advanced-tier cloud management means your IT person sees every policy change, every firmware update, and every alert in one place. Set it up once, forget about it until you need to add a site
