Your camera's 400 metres down a corridor and copper can't make it. The POE3000ST bridges that gap with a fixed ST multimode fibre port at 850nm wavelength, rated to 550m. One side takes your standard UTP cable, the other plugs straight into existing ST-patched fibre. It powers the device at the far end — IEEE 802.3at PoE+ — so you skip the power outlet hunt entirely.
