You need a 30-metre run from the AV rack to the projector and copper's going to eat your signal alive. This Astrotek active optical cable pushes 32.4 Gbps over fibre – 8K at 60Hz, 4K at 120Hz, HDR, DSC 1.2a – without the attenuation you get from a 30-metre copper run. Slimmer, more flexible, and it doesn't care about the EMI in a server room. Backward compatible with DP 1.3 and 1.2 ports. One-year warranty included
